HOW TO GET SUPERMODEL CHEEKBONES WITHOUT GOING UNDER THE KNIFE

While there are many features that we consider beautiful, the presence of high, prominent cheekbones are universally attractive. They not only give the face definition, but they also create a more youthful look. Of course, not everyone is born with supermodel cheekbones, but there are a number of ways you can fake the look of a sculpted face.

Check out our tips and tricks for high cheekbones, and learn how to get the supermodel look you want.

Contour Your Face

If you’re not blessed with prominent, high cheekbones, a little makeup is all it takes to fake the look. Here’s how it’s done:

Using a cream foundation that’s a shade or two lighter than your skin, cover the center of your forehead, chin, bridge of your nose and the top of your cheekbones.

Then, use a foundation that’s a shade or two darker than your natural skin on the area below your cheekbones and jawline.

Blend the foundation well to blur the edges and create a subtle, more natural finish.

Finish the look with powder blush on the apples of your cheeks and a liquid highlighter on the top of your cheekbones. Apply a setting powder to your whole face, and you now have a contoured, sculpted look.

Dermal Fillers

Part of the reason full cheekbones look youthful is that a narrow chin and broad cheeks tend to shift to a fuller chin and narrow cheeks as we age. As a result, seeing someone with prominent cheekbones automatically makes them look younger.

If you don’t want to go under the knife for cheek implants, the next best thing is using a dermal filler. These hyaluronic acid fillers can restore lost volume and create a plump, full look to the areas of the face that have hollowed out. In people with flat or low cheekbones, dermal fillers can create the look of prominent cheekbones as well.

Dermal fillers can also be used around the temples, cheekbones and middle cheek area to give a broad appearance to the upper half of the face, creating the illusion of youthfulness. This also takes care of the areas that are prone to fine lines and wrinkles, keeping your skin looking tight and radiant.

Dermal fillers have been found to stimulate the body’s natural collagen production as well, which helps your skin combat the signs of aging on its own.
