Who Can Benefit from Body Contouring?

Who Can Benefit from Body Contouring?

We want everyone to feel comfortable and confident in the skin they’re in. So we’ve dedicated our practice to delivering the best and most advanced cosmetic treatments available. Among our most popular is body contouring.

But it’s not for everyone.

Here, Dr. Divina Averilla, our specialist at Love Your Body Medical Spa in Las Vegas, Nevada, takes a closer look at who can benefit from this revolutionary treatment.

You’re close to your goal weight

Body contouring is most effective if you’ve almost reached your goal weight, and you’re stuck on toning down a problem spot here or there.

This is likely not an option for you if you’re still more than a few pounds away from your ideal size.

You don’t have a lot of time

Do you have a big event coming up, and you still can’t zip up your favorite dress? Is summer staring you in the face, and you haven’t dared to try on your bikini? Have no fear. Body contouring delivers the results you need in a month or two.

Typically, your body starts to metabolize your extra fat just a few short weeks after treatment. We often recommend that you get a series of treatments over 4-6 weeks to get the best results.

You can enjoy a slimmer, tighter frame in a fraction of the time it takes to lose the fat with diet and exercise alone.

Bonus: There’s no intensive pre- or post-procedure care. In fact, the entire procedure takes anywhere from 45-60 minutes, and you can return to your regular activities right after your treatment.

You have multiple problem areas

Our body contouring service isn't a one-trick pony — we can apply it to virtually any area of your body. Among the most common problem spots we treat are:

We can also use body contouring to address stubborn fat around your bra line.

You want to avoid surgery

Sometimes, surgery is the most effective option for weight loss support. But it’s not the only option. If you’re looking to finish off weight loss without going under the knife and spending time in recovery, body contouring may be right for you.

We see body contouring as a complement to a healthy lifestyle. That’s why we recommend this noninvasive approach to anyone who’s looking to tone up while focusing on their other health and wellness goals.

How our body contouring treatments work

At Love Your Body Medical Spa, we use Reaction™ by Viora, which incorporates CORE™ technology and includes multi-radiofrequency (RF) channels we develop to customize each treatment to your specific needs.

That means we use a handheld device to deliver powerful RF energy into layers of fat below your skin. The RF energy gradually heats your fat cells until they reach their melting point, which allows your body to easily metabolize and eliminate them.

We cycle through three different RF wave channels to accurately target each layer of fat underneath your skin. The result is a slimmer-looking you in a matter of weeks.

During your treatment, you should feel a comfortable warming sensation as the RF energy passes through your skin. Other than that, the procedure is noninvasive and doesn't require any anesthesia.
